DYLAN HOLMES

Dylan Holmes is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder with A-League club Adelaide United. Born in Brazil, she spent some of her childhood in the United States, Chile and Peru before settling with her family in Adelaide at the age of 10.

After starring at local side Cumberland United, Dylan progressed through the ranks of the South Australia state and NTC programs. She made her debut for Adelaide United in 2014 aged 17 and spent a total of two seasons at the Reds before finding success in WNPLSA with Fulham United and Adelaide City respectively.

A return to Adelaide United in 2018 saw Dylan cement her place as one of the W-League’s best midfielders, and in 2020 she was named captain of the side. She moved to Sweden in March 2021 and immediately helped BK Hacken win the Swedish Cup.

Dylan’s strong league form in Australia and Scandinavia was rewarded in April 2021 when she was named in the Matildas squad. She subsequently made her senior national team debut in green and gold during a friendly match against the Netherlands having previously represented her country at U17 level.
