Shane O’Neill is an Australian skateboarding superstar who has been competing at the elite global level since his early teens.

Born in Melbourne on 3 January 1990, he was swept up in the fever and increasing popularity of skateboarding in the nineties and immediately excelled.

​

A member of the SLS “9 Club”, he is a regular on the world skating circuit including the X Games where he recently won a Gold Medal (July 2022).

​

Shane was crowned World Champion at the 2016 World Skateboarding Championships in Los Angeles before winning Silver at the same event in 2017.

​

In 2020, he became the first Australian athlete to have their own signature shoe with Nike following the release of the Nike SB Shane.

​

Shane participated in the inaugural skate events at the 2021 Olympics in Tokyo where he competed for Australia in the street skateboarding competition.

​

As of September 2022, Shane has over 1.4 million Instagram followers and has been on Nike’s SB roster since the age of 13.
