Chloe Covell
Chloe Covell is an Australian street skateboarder who has quickly become one of the sport’s most exciting young stars. Growing up in Tweed Heads, New South Wales, Chloe first picked up a skateboard at age six after receiving one as a Christmas gift, and by her early teens she was competing on the world stage. The daughter of former professional rugby league player Luke Covell and Julie Covell, she brings a mix of athletic pedigree and personal determination to everything she does.
In 2022, at just 12 years old, Chloe announced herself to the skateboarding world by winning silver at the World Championships in Sharjah, an Olympic qualifier, and becoming the youngest athlete in history to claim two X Games medals before the age of 13. The following year she cemented her place among the elite by winning X Games gold in Women’s Street, making her the youngest ever champion in that event. In 2024, she proudly represented Australia at the Paris Olympics, competing in the women’s street skateboarding final and finishing eighth on the sport’s biggest stage.
A standout in a traditionally male-dominated sport, Chloe is admired for her consistency, creativity and fearless approach. Inspired by her idols but determined to carve her own path, she is already redefining what’s possible for the next generation of skaters.
Away from competition, she balances her education with a wide range of interests including soccer, surfing, basketball, music and spending time with friends, all while remaining grounded and focused on her journey as one of skateboarding’s brightest talents.
