Chris Burgess
A late bloomer who grew 20cm in his final eighteen months of high school, Chris Burgess is a gifted athlete who plays for the Adelaide Crows in the AFL.
Chris was selected by the Gold Coast Suns as a mature-age selection ahead of the 2019 AFL season and went on to play 36 games for the Gold Coast before being traded to the Adelaide Crows at the conclusion of the 2023 AFL season.
Chris went back-to-back in winning the Jim 'Frosty' Miller Medal as the leading goal kicker in the VFL for seasons 2022 and 2023 and became a VFL Premiership player for the Gold Coast, playing a pivotal role to lead the Suns to their first ever VFL Premiership in 2023.
