Chris Burgess
Chris Burgess is a professional AFL footballer who plays for the Adelaide Crows.
A late bloomer who grew 20cm in his final eighteen months of high school, Chris was selected by the Gold Coast Suns as a mature-age selection ahead of the 2019 AFL season and went on to play 36 games for the Gold Coast.
Throughout Chris's time at the Gold Coast, he went back-to-back in winning the Jim 'Frosty' Miller Medal as the leading goal kicker in the VFL for seasons 2022 and 2023 and became a VFL Premiership player, playing a pivotal role to lead the Suns to their first ever VFL Premiership in 2023.
At the conclusion of the 2023 AFL season, Chris requested a trade home to Adelaide. Chris made his Crows debut in round 1 of the 2024 season and is looking to build on his debut season at the club with a solid 2025.
