Matt Crouch

Matt Crouch is an All-Australian midfielder who plays for the Adelaide Crows after being taken with pick 23 in the 2013 National Draft.

Originally hailing from Ballarat, he has been a ball magnet since his debut and was an AFL Rising Star nominee in his first season in 2014.

​Crouch took his game to the next level in 2017, averaging 33 disposals per game and earning All Australian honours and a nomination for the Adelaide Crows AFL Players Association MVP award.

​He was a standout in the 2017 finals series where he broke Dane Swan’s AFL record for most disposals in a complete season with 825.

That year he was also named The Age’s Player of the Year and won the Malcolm Blight Medal as the Adelaide Crows Best and Fairest winner.


Crouch is proving to be a vital midfield cog for the Crows in 2024 as he helps to propel the team back into September action.

Crouch is back in the Crows side in 2022 after an injury derailed his 2021 season and is looking to dominate in the middle and reclaim his status as one of the game’s best midfielders.
