Orazio Fantasia

Orazio Fantasia, currently an AFL player for the Carlton Football Club, is widely regarded as one of the most exhilarating players in the league, boasting a dedicated fan base since his debut in 2014.

Growing up, Orazio idolized Adelaide Crows legend Andrew McLeod and mirrored his hero's success by clinching a SANFL Premiership in just his fourth senior game for Norwood in 2013.

Following his promising start, Orazio was drafted by Essendon with pick no. 55 in the 2013 AFL Draft. He quickly made his mark, earning AFL Rising Star nominations in 2015 and 2016.

The pinnacle of Orazio's career thus far came in 2017 when he delivered a standout performance, scoring 39 goals in 20 games. His exceptional form secured his spot in the AFLPA 22 under 22 team, recognizing his contributions to Essendon's forward line.

In 2020, Orazio returned to his hometown after being traded to Port Adelaide. He enjoyed a stellar debut season with the Power, netting 28 goals in 15 games. However, his time at Port was marred by injuries in the subsequent seasons of 2022 and 2023.

Seeking a fresh start, Orazio made the move to the Carlton Football Club. With 99 AFL games under his belt for Essendon and Port Adelaide, Orazio looks forward to further expanding his career at Carlton in 2024 and beyond.
